Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2020-11-05

Location: Boiler

Anchored South of Boiler, winds calm, seas 3-5′. Perfect weather. Our last two dives at El Canyon were wonderful, with multiple sightings of hammerheads and mantas. Divers were thrilled with their first dive day. We spent a calm night at anchor there before picking up and relocating to the Boiler this morning. Both dives so far today have blown the divers away. “Manta Madness” was the phrase of the morning, as multiple friendly rays hung with divers throughout both dives. We also saw a pair of bottlenose dolphins on dive two! The plan is to finish two more dives here at the Boiler than relocate to Socorro this evening and we plan for silky snorkel there tomorrow evening. Awesome trip so far. Great ship, top crew, and happy guests.
