Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2020-11-23

Location: Roca O’Neal, Roca Partida

Status: Winds NW@12-15knts, Seas 3-4feet NW, scattered clouds. Water around 80+F with vis around 100 ft. Beautiful day

We completed two more dives at Roca Partida yesterday afternoon, wrapping up our two days with the place to ourselves. Sightings of mantas and the usual shark activities on both dives. Water around 80F with visibility around 100 ft, slight current to the S. Overnight crossing to arrive at Roca O’Neal this morning. Divers on the first two dives enjoyed the underwater topography, with all groups visiting the cavern and archway. Multiple giant mantas were in the area for the entirety of both dives and some divers got very close, as they were passed by the curious rays. Water temp 82F visibility 100 ft, slight current to the South and West. Everybody enjoyed the morning. Life is good!
