Captain’s Noon Report- Under Sea – 2020-12-12

Location: Underway to Cabo San Lucas (N 20°58.8´, W 110°21.7´)

Conditions: Wind NW 8-12 kts, Seas NW 2-4 ft

Yesterday our third dive was at Fondeadero. When the divers jumped in front of the boat they could see 5 silky sharks underneath with lots of jacks. They also found a big group of white tips sharks on the fondeadero as well as some electric rays. The last dive yesterday was at the cleaning station. Though visibility was poor at around 20 ft, we saw Galapagos and silver tip sharks. We started sailing around 2300 hrs yesterday because we expected rough weather conditions but instead the crossing back to Cabo San Lucas has been nice and smooth.
