Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2020-12-20

Weather: Winds NW 4-6, Calm seas, Partly cloudy, Visibility 80 ft, Temperature 26C, No current
Status: At the Canyon

Yesterday afternoon at Punta Tosca did not disappoint! On dive 3 we had more playful dolphins and mantas. Divers couldn’t decide where to look! Then on dive 4, we had more dolphins and a tiger shark, about 2.5-3 meters long. Today at the Canyon we have had it all – dolphins, hammerheads, Galapagos, silver tips, mantas! Thinking how could it get any better, on dive 2 we have a school of over 50 hammerheads at the cleaning station that came in within 5 feet of guests. Apparently, hammerheads don’t know about social distancing. Everyone had such an amazing time this morning.
