Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2021-02-24

Location: Anchored at the canyon, 2 shackles of chain in the water.

This morning we had a slight breeze coming from the NE of 3-5 Kts of intensity, we are protected here in the anchorage area from swell so we had it at most of 1-2 Ft. the sky remains partially clouded. Yesterday afternoon at the Boiler was good. Dive 3 especially everyone had a great manta experience. The first dive and dropped the divers at Manta Rock, Viz was good from 40-60 Ft. Divers are really happy, they encountered several dolphins, a school of jacks, schooling hammerheads and few big Galapagos sharks hunting. The second dive we dropped the divers near Manta Rock, they encountered hammerheads and a big tiger shark, viz remained the same and did not encounter any strong current. Also a manta around but so far not too playful. Water temp 23C. All guests and crew are doing great.
