Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2021-03-04

Location: At San Benedicto today. Anchored near the Canyon right now.

Weather: Wind is from the north 20kts, 2′ swell in the anchorage.

We started the day at the Boiler with two dives, both of which were amazing. Big pod of very playful dolphins was around for both dives, so everyone got some great interaction on both dives. There were also at least 3 mantas around, and on the first dive, one lucky group saw a whaleshark! Viz was around 80ft, water temp 23C, current was from the north moderate to strong. At lunch we moved down to the canyon due to the increasing winds and have done one dive here so far this afternoon. It was another excellent dive with hammerheads everywhere, as it’s been here lately. One more dive this afternoon to close out the trip. All guests doing great!
