Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2021-03-08

Location: Vessel anchored at el boiler, 105 ft depth, 3.5 shots paid out

Weather: clear skies, sunny day, wind blowing from NW 5 kts and long period swell from NW around 5-7 ft.

Two dives conducted already, first one was in Fondeadero, guest jumped into the water from the dive deck for the check dive, everything went well, during this dive guest got to see, plenty of lobsters, white tips, a few hammerheads and a school of bonitos. The current was very light from the east, viz around 10 mts and and water temperature 23 degrees Celsius. Second dive was conducted at el Boiler, mantas were around, at least 4 different chevron mantas, also some of the guests saw a 20 + school of hammerheads and a huge school of jacks, viz, current and water temperature same as the first dive.
