Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2021-03-12

Location: Anchored near the Canyon today along with the Cassiopeia.

Weather: Wind is from the NE 10-15kts with a 2′ swell wrap-around from the west. Sky is clear. Air temp 25C but feels cooler in the wind.

We’ve had two dives here today so far, both excellent. Hammerheads and lots of other sharks, including Galapagos, Silver-tips and white-tips around the cleaning station on both dives. Schooling hammerheads for many divers, plus a manta around as well which some divers got to see. We’re going to finish the day here at the Canyon and depart tonight around 2130 to get back to Cabo for 0700 on the 14th. Forecast is showing 20-30kts with 10′ seas on the way home so we’ll need all the time we have to get back on time. Guests and crew doing well.
