Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2021-03-29

Location: Roca Partida

Good afternoon everyone! We finished our day yesterday with our silky night. It was very good and the guests were happy and did enjoy that activity a lot. Vessel currently anchored in Roca Partida at 0.13 NM east from the rock, sky partially clouded, light wind from North and 2-4 ft seas from NW. Two great dives done so far here, divers are very excited about being in this diving spot where they got the chance to see these great marine animals. During both dives, they saw Galapagos sharks, big tuna and jack schools, a school of hammerheads, a few dolphins passing by and silver and white tips as well, and last but not less a big school of Wahoos. Dive conditions during both dives were pretty good, light current from north, viz around 30 mts. And water temperature 23 Celsius. Right now guests are having lunch and after that, we will have another two dives. After dinner, we will heave up anchor and head to El Boiler.
