Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-04-01

Location: The Canyon

Anchored at San Benedito (The Canyon) 68 Ft of water below the keel and 2.5 shots of chain out in the water. NW Breeze of around 5-8 kts and calmed seas at the protected area of the Canyon. The first dive of the day we did off the dive platform and it was amazing. The guests encountered Hammerheads, Galapagos, Silvertips and 2 Mantas. The Southern sport left just after their first dive to the Boiler. The second dive was great, we skiffed and dropped divers at Manta Rock. They encountered Mantas, Silvertips, a school of hammerheads and a school of jacks. Viz for both dives were good around 50-65 Ft and water temp for both dives was around 24C.
