Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-04-11

Location: Cabo Pearce

Beautiful morning here at Cabo Pearce. 84.3 Ft of water below us and 2.5 shots of chain out in the water. Calm wind and seas with a warm sensation on the environment. In our first dive we skiffed and dropped divers at the outer side of the lava finger, viz was good around 40-55 ft, and water temperature 23C. Divers encountered 2 Mantas, Dolphins and hammerheads. We also skiffed the second dive and it was a little quieter than the first one but it was still a good dive. Viz remained the same as water temp. Some divers spotted one manta, white tips, reef fish and octopus. After our third dive today we will pick the anchor up and head to the navy inspection and then to Punta Tosca.
