Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-04-12

Location: The Canyon

Anchored at The Canyon, 165 Ft of water below us and 3 shots of chain out in the water. Yesterday we did the silky snorkel, no incidents. All good. Gorgeous morning here at San Benedicto, calm wind and calm seas. We skiffed both of our dives, both ones were sharky dives. The first one we dropped divers at Manta Rock and they encountered Galapagos, Hammerheads, Silver tips and white tips. On the second one, we dropped some divers at the cleaning station and the other ones at Manta Rock. A little quieter but sharky. Silver tips, few hammerheads and some white tips. Viz for both dives was around 50-60 Ft, Water temp was around 24 C. Moderated current for both dives from NW. Guests are happy.
