Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-04-20

Location: Roca Partida

Gorgeous morning at Roca Partida. Calm wind, Swell of 1-3 Ft NW. With partially clouded sky. Our first dive of the day we skiffed and dropped divers at the eastern side of Roca Partida. Divers encountered A school of tunas, giant tunas, Hammerheads, Galapagos, Silvertips, white tips, a school of black jacks. Viz was around 70-80 Ft and water temp around 23C. For our second dive we skiffed and dropped divers on the northern side of Roca Partida, divers got to see a school of bonitas, one Manta, giant tunas, Galapagos and a school of hammerheads. viz decreased to 50-60 Ft and water temp stayed the same.
