Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-05-04

Location: Cabo Pearce

Gorgeous morning at Socorro (Cabo Pearce). Calm wind and seas at the anchorage area. On our first dive, we skiff and dropped divers at the inner side of the Lava Finger. Divers encountered white tips, dolphins and two mantas. For the second dive, we skiffed and dropped divers at the same spot as the last dive. Divers encountered 5 Mantas, 2 of them were giant and stayed for most of the dive with our guests. Viz for both dives was 60-70 Ft. Water temp for both dives was around 23C. After our third dive today we will pick the anchor up and head out to the navy base for the routinary inspection and then to Punta Tosca for the silky snorkel.
