Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2021-05-14

Location: Cabo Pearce

Good afternoon everyone! The vessel is anchored at Cabo Pearce. Nice wx, Wind from north 10 kts, 2 ft swell at the anchorage. Sunny day, clear sky. We finished yesterday with a silky night. The guests did enjoy it a lot. Today we have done two amazing dives. During both dives, mantas have been very playful, at least seven of them! They are interacting with our guests and they are very happy. They also enjoyed watching the white tips, silky sharks, Galapagos sharks and hammerheads. I asked one of the groups while picking them up from the water – what did they see? The guests said: “We just saw a wall of hammerheads”! They said that the wall has more than two hundred hammerheads, yes, more than two hundred! All of them are very happy. Another two more dives are planned here for the rest of the day. Dive conditions were good, almost no current. Water temperature 21 Celsius degrees and Visibility around 20 mts.
