Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-05-14

Location: Roca Partida

Anchored at Roca Partida. 236 ft of water below the keel and 4.5 shackles of chain out in the water. Beautiful morning here at Roca Partida. 6-8 Kts of NW wind, 4-6 ft seas same direction with a clear blue sky. On our first dive, we skiffed and dropped diver at the eastern side of Roca Partida. It was a great dive. Divers encountered, Hammerheads, Galapagos, Silkys, White tips, Oceanic white tips and a school of yellow fin tuna. For de second dive we skiffed and dropped divers at the eastern side of Roca Partida. Divers encountered white tips, silvertips, hammerheads and a school of tunas. Viz for both dives was 80-90 Ft. Water temp for both divea was around 23 C.
