Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-05-20

Location: Roca Partida

Anchored at Roca Partida. 239 Ft of water below the Explorer and 5 shackles of chain out in the water. Beautiful morning at Roca Partida. Northeastern breeze of 3-5 Kts and 5-7 Ft seas with 15 seconds in-between swell. Wind and swell prevailed as the day got older with a cloudy sky, that cleared as the sun made its way up. On our first dive of today, we skiffed and dropped divers at the easter side of Roca Partida. Divers encountered white tips, silvertips, Galapagos, hammerheads, black jacks and one big yellow fin tuna. We skiffed on our second dive and dropped divers at the eastern side of Roca Partida, currently, they are diving. Viz for the first dive was around 80-100 Ft and water temp was around 23C. All guests are happy.
