Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2021-06-01

Location: Anchored between Fondeadero and The Canyon

Weather: Sky overcast and wind blowing from NE 10kt (2ft swell)

Check dive was done from the dive platform, During the dive, one of the groups saw a tiger shark (they said it was pretty big), a pod of dolphins playing around our guests (it was seen by all the groups) and a chevron manta was spotted as well. Very good dive for a checkout dive. On the second dive we dropped the divers off at Manta Rock – excellent dive, lots of sharks, divers had encounters with many hammerheads, school of Galapagos sharks, silvertips, whitetips, silky, school of tuna and jacks and scattered wahoos. Also many lobsters and another pod of dolphins were on the scene again. Two more dives here and then we will have our famous taco night.
