Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-06-08

Location: Anchored at Punta Tosca

Weather: Light Wind and Moderate N Current

Yesterday, our last dives at The Canyon were good. There were a lot of hammerhead sharks swimming around so close to us, silvertip sharks and Galapagos sharks

Water Temperature: 23°C

Visibility: 50ft

Our first dive this morning was great. We had a couple of manta rays which, as soon as we jumped in the water, began to follow us and they stuck around for 30 minutes. There were a lot of silky sharks and a couple of turtles. 

Water Temperature: 24°C

Visibility: 60ft

The second dive was pretty mellow and relaxing. We encountered a manta ray, many lobsters, a hammerhead shark and silky sharks.

Water Temperature: 23°C

Visibility: 65ft
