Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea – 2021-06-11

Location: 19.17.848N – 110.48.474W

Weather: Windy (16kts)

We’re diving at The Canyon today. First dive was really good with loads of stuff to see. Starting with the whitetip sharks, silvertip sharks, Galapagos sharks and many silky sharks. Then, we had the elusive manta ray show up and most guests got to see the schooling hammerhead sharks too.

Water Temperature: 76°F

Visibility: 60ft

The second dive was relaxed. Most species of sharks were there but in lower numbers. A manta ray came in close but it was just cruising and did not want to play with the divers.

Air Temperature: 78°F
