Our first day of diving got off to an incredible start. Orcas were spotted from the boat before we even had breakfast. Of course we immediately suited up and jumped in the water. We had multiple sightings of a pod of five orcas — breaching, feeding, checking us out. The most amazing sight was jumping in the water to see this pod feeding on a dead whale shark. Although we still have six days to go I can’t even imagine a scene more incredible than that. Oh, and the food was amazing too!
