Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2021-06-24

Location: Anchored at The Boiler

Weather: Overcast, N Wind (5kts) and NW Swell (2-3ft)

Both dives of the day were fantastic. On the first dive, as soon as we dropped off the divers, a pod of dolphins were waiting for them. There were also many manta rays (possibly six different ones), oceanic blacktip sharks, silvertip sharks, few Galapagos sharks, silky sharks and plenty of reef fish.

On the second dive, the manta ray action continued and there were dolphins swimming at the surface. At the end of this dive, one of the groups were doing their safety stop and they were visited by a very big female tiger shark. They said she was very curious and made a circle around them.

Water Temperature: 25°C

Visibility: 15m
