Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-06-28

Location: Anchored at Cabo Pearce

Weather: Cloudy, Light Wind and Calm Seas

Yesterday we finished the day with our silky snorkel. The conditions were not the best due to the water conditions and visibility. We saw only five sharks but not at the same time. The activity was pretty relaxed. Today, for our first dive, we had a manta ray swimming around with 2 big Galapagos sharks. Moderate NW current.

For the second dive we had four friendly manta rays. The dive was amazing; one of the four manta rays was chasing the other three because she wanted to have all of the divers for herself. The diving conditions were not the best but the show that we had with the four manta rays was amazing. As soon as we finish with the last dive we are going to pick up the anchor and we are going to sail directly to Roca Partida.

Water Temperature: 25°C
