Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-06-30

Location: Anchored at Roca Partida

Weather: Clear Sky, Light Wind and Calm Seas

Such a beautiful day. Blue sky with some patches of cumulus clouds and smooth seas at the anchorage area. Yesterday we finished the day of diving at Roca Partida with silky sharks, Galapagos sharks, tuna and a lot of reef fish. Today, our first dive was pretty calm. We had silvertip sharks, massive tuna, huge Galapagos sharks and the dive conditions were moderate with a north current.

For the second dive, we had around 14 hammerhead sharks, about eight huge Galapagos sharks, a school of silvertip sharks and plenty of reef fish. It’s insane how many sharks are here today.

Water Temperature: 25°C
