Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2022-03-04

Location: Marina Cortez

Weather: Clear Skies, Light SW Wind, Swell (1ft)

Finished the trip with a great day yesterday, whale sharks in the morning and sea lions at Los Islotes in the afternoon with Baja Expeditions panga. Lots of whale sharks and lots of sea lions. Last night we had a great steak and lobster dinner then a quiet night at anchor to end the trip. The weather for the trip has been beautiful, nothing more than a light breeze and calm seas all trip.

Guests seemed to enjoy themselves. We ran overnight the second night so we could spend the day whale watching in Bahia de La Paz, which turned out quite well. But a day run south for the second day while also watching for whales and dolphins could be a good idea also.
