Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-03-31

Good afternoon everyone! NEX anchored at San Benedicto, fair wx, we have NW wind gusting to 17 kts and same direction seas 3-5 ft, sky is 5/8, water temperature is 24 Celsius and viz is 20 meters.
We arrived here last night and started our check dive in fondeadero, all divers did good, during this dive, the first group that got in to the water firsts had the chance to saw 2 dolphins, rest of the groups saw during check dive 1 black manta, a Galapagos shark, a few silkys, many many lobsters and lots of fish, for dive number 2 we moved to the boiler diving the boiler was great, it was a manta festival, also some scattered hammerheads, a few Huges tuna fish and the usual reef fish, our guests are very happy, we have 2 more dives here and then will move to fondeadero and will dive the Canyon tomorrow.
