Captain’s Noon Reports – Undersea – 2023-04-02

19.17.800N – 110.48.651W, anchor in 40Ft of water, today we are in san benedicto.

Skies with blues and whites, wind is doing 10kts Nw at anchor, gusting to 16kts at times, air temperature is 17F, today we started our week off the back deck, guests went in and some had to add more weight to their rigs to be able to make it down, once down they went for a swim and some came back up with smiles and talking on how good the dive was, water today is 75F, visibility is averaging 60Ft, current is running to the east, in first dive they saw silver tip sharks, some Galapagos, lobsters, leather bass, grunts, snappers, moray eels and a lot more, in second dive one of the groups saw a manta that happened to be there as they plunged in the water, then the cleaning station at the canyon was loaded with Galapagos and silver tips, a huge tiger shark came in and was seeing by all divers then a handful of lucky one saw a small squadron of hammerhead sharks, so far so good they say, ocean at the canyon is pretty flat, boat sit still on the surface everyone is enjoying their time..
