Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2023-04-04

NGL is anchored at san francisco bay, wind is blowing about 15knots with stronger gusts, anchorage is choppy, sky is clear. This morning we took advantage of the flat conditions before the wind starts, and the guests went diving to the lobera of san francisco. They encountered some friendly and curious sealions. temp 19C visibility 15mts. in the meantime Ngl was looking for creatures in the channel, we found a few bottlenose dolphins. Yesterday afternoon we headed to isla espiritu santo east side after snorkling with the common dolphins. We encountered a lot of mobulas schooling and jumping and had a great snorkling for more than 2 hours with different schools. The visibility was only about 2 meters, but everybody onboard had close encounters.
