Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-04-05

Hello everyone, NEX is anchored at Cabo Pearce.

We arrived here yesterday afternoon. The wind is from N 10-12 Kts and gusting possibly to 15. Seas are NNW 2-4 ft. It is a sunny day with a few white patches up in the sky.

Today we have done 2 dives and have one more dive left. Our divers had encounters with mantas and dolphins. On dive 2, they had the chance to do their safety stop with a pod of 15 dolphins. They also saw white-tip sharks, some scattered hammerheads, lobsters, and the usual reef fish.

So far, the day is going well. Once we finish diving here, we will go to San Benedicto and dive at the Canyon.
