Captain’s Noon Reports – Undersea – 2023-04-22

NUS Anchored at 18 46.5N-110 02.4W, at a depth of 95 ft. Punta Tosca, Socorro Island. The sky is partly cloudy. Air temperature 72F, with a pleasant breeze from the North of 8 knots and no waves at the anchorage, but the outside of the bay looks whitecaps.

Two dives this morning in Punta Tosca. Visibility 60 ft, no current, water temperature 75F. The first dive was very well with many Dolphins, more than 30 Mantas, and a few Hammerheads. Second dive same conditions, 4 Mantas, and a few Hammers. Customers were very happy with the dolphins. Yesterday in the last two afternoon dives at the Canyon very good action by the cleaning station with a lot of Galapagos sharks, and Silvertips.
