Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-05-14

Anchor at San Benedicto, Boiler, Winds: NW 8 -11 knots sometimes gust around 13 knots, Seas: NW 4-6ft short period of swell.

Yesterday we finished our diving day with very good dives at Canyon. There were a lot of sharks, silver tips, white tips, Galapagos, some hammerhead sharks, there were a lot of them!! The condition was good, light current from W to E and around 55 ft of visibility. We had our delicious Taco night by Kike at the sun deck, our guests really enjoyed that, then we spent the night at anchor in the Fondeadero and today we moved to Boiler at 5 am.

Our 1st dive was awesome we found around 8 dolphins which were playing around the rock, 3 mantas swimming around, and a lot of reef fish. The condition was good, visibility was around 80 ft, and a light current heading to the S. The 2nd dive was beautiful too. We encountered at least 7 mantas around. We are going to spend 2 dives more and as soon as we finish with the dive, we are going to pick up anchor and sail to Roca.
