Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-05-22

Anchor at Roca Partida. Winds: N 8 -11 knots sometimes gust around 15 knots, Seas: NW 4-6ft long period of swell.

Yesterday we finished our day with a very nice dive at the Boiler where we encountered some very friendly mantas, a little group of hammerhead sharks, and at the end, a tiger shark for a couple of minutes. Then we moved to Fondeadero to have dinner with less swell. After dinner, we picked up the anchor and we sailed directly to Roca.

Today in our 1st dive we encountered 1 manta, some Galapagos sharks, a lot of white tips and a school of jacks at the South, and 2 whale sharks swimming around the rock. One of them is smaller than the other one we would say that he is a juvenile. The visibility is around 18 Mts and we had light current from the South. Our guests are very happy.
