Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-05-28

Underway to San Benedicto 20°39.574’N 110°25.934 W, 86 NM to go, ETA 2300, Winds: NW 10 kts, Seas: NW 4-6 ft long swell.

Yesterday we said welcome to our guests 1930 hrs here at the ship, all of them were very excited for this adventure. After the Crew introduction and the welcome briefing, we started our way to San Benedicto. After we were away from the bay the wind conditions were strong, I would say around 27 kts of wind from W. Fortunately the swell was not as bad as the wind and we could surf during the night.

Today the wind conditions got better and the swell is high but the period is long. We performed Captain briefing, Life jacket Passenger Drill, and EEBD demonstration. All guests well understood and later we are going to get the Dive Safety briefing.
