Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-06-07

Anchor at Punta Tosca, Winds: N 8 -12 kts sometimes gust around 15 knots, Seas: NW 5-6 ft long period of swell.

Yesterday we finished our day at Boiler with amazing dives. On the 3rd dive, we encountered 2 whale sharks at the same time and some mantas and a school of tuna soon after!! The conditions were ok, the visibility was around 12 mts and the current was moderate to the S. Then Felipe was waiting for us at the sun deck with a delicious Taco night, all guests really enjoyed the Tacos. We arrived in Punta Tosca at 2345 and spent the night at anchor here.

Today has been good. On the 1st dive, we encountered some dolphins at the 2nd finger, 2 hammerheads, and a big turtle. The conditions were ok, visibility was around 20 mts, and the current was pushing to the W. The 2nd dive was beautiful too but just this time we could not find the dolphins.

The water temp around 24°C, we are going to perform another dive here and then we are going to move to Vargas Lozano Bay to perform the inspection and then start on our way to Roca Partida.
