Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2023-08-24

NGL at Las Animas today. Beautiful day. Wind light from the N. Seas around 1′, sunny skies. Air temp 35C.

2 dives done so far here. Both great dives with beautiful conditions, viz 80ft plus, water temp 29C, mild current. Lots of playful sea lions around and lots of fish life, big lobsters, eels, and some schooling jacks. Had a pod of dolphins around earlier and we made a few attempts to swim with them. A few people got to see them briefly but they were a little shy. Did the second dive in the cave on the east side and everyone enjoyed that.

Guests and crew doing okay. On the first day at ES, we were limited by strong northerlies to Fang Ming and the area and viz was low. Yesterday was pretty good according to everybody.
