Belle Amie is diving Isla Coronado today. Weather partly overcast today; wind is currently from the south around 5-10 kts but with a SE swell 2-3′. Air temp 32C. Had some toritos off in the distance last night with lots of lightning which I suspect is where the swell came from. No local effects besides that swell.
Diving this morning has been great so far. Strong current but loads of life on the dives, including an eagle ray, several turtles, sealions and schools of yellow-snapper, grouper and jacks off the finger at the NE point of Coronados.
Guests are very pleased with the dives so far. We’ll do one more here on the finger and then for our last dive we’ll move south to another dive site to finish the daybefore heading for Las Animas to dive tomorrow. Viz a little less than usual today, typical of this dive site though, around 12-15m. Water temp 29-30C, current moderate to strong.
