Captain’s Noon Reports – Westerly – 2023-09-02

Hello everyone, Westerly anchored at San Benito, SE wind 10 kts and 2-3 ft seas in the anchorage.

We finished yesterday with a late dive in Cedros, very nice dive, today. We had a morning dive, guests did see common seals, plenty of sea lions and the kelp forest as well. They also saw at least 5 cownose rays, lots of abalone and lots of nice fish. We are just starting dive 2. The plan is to complete 4 dives and then depart to Bahia Asuncion and do 2 or 3 dives there tomorrow.

Water temperature was around 20 Celsius and viz 15 meters during dive 1.
