Captain’s Noon Reports – Westerly – 2023-09-04

NWLY e/r to Bahia Magdalena, NW wind 15-20 kts and 5-7 ft seas, same direction.

We arrived this morning to San Roque Island but due to big wrapping swell we were not able to dive there but we moved to Isla Asuncion and did 2 dives there. We anchored in the east side of the island.

This side is full of sea lions and also kelp, during both dives our gests saw, sea lions, turtles, many garibaldis, different rays and many other fish. Viz was not that good, it was 10 meters but Celina said that this is a very nice dive site, hopefully in future trips we have better viz.
