Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-09-21

Anchor at Las Animas, Winds: S 1-3 kts sometimes gust around 5 kts, Seas:Calm.

Yesterday we finished the day with our night dive. For a few of our guests, it was the 1st time to do a night dive and they really enjoyed as it was very nice and calm, and “El Cayo”was the perfect place to do it. Then, we spent the night at anchor until 0400 am and started our way to Las Animas.

Today as soon as we arrived, we performed our 1st dive. The conditions are wonderful, the visibility is really great 30 mts, water temp: 31C°. We encountered sealions, some turtles, reef fish, Cortez angel fish, barber fish, and morenas.

Our 2nd dive was as much beautiful as the 1st one, even better as the current was lighter. We are going to perform 2 dives more here. We will be at anchor until midnight and then we are going to start our way to La Paz.
