Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-09-29

Underway to Espíritu Santo South, Winds: N 2 -3 kts sometimes gusts around 5 kts, Seas: Very calm.

Yesterday we were diving at Salva Tierra. Then we dove Swanee Reef, the conditions were nice, water temp around 31 C°, no current. It was full of reef fish and the coral was beautiful. Then we enjoyed a delicious dinner.

We started with the anchor after dinner and arrived at 2300 to Carpenters Rock.Today we started the day at 7 am ,1st dive in la Reinita, visibility was not good, around 12 ft. We had moderate current heading N but we found some cool stuff, 2 sabalos and some moray eels.

Then we moved to La Reyna but the conditions were not the best, same visibility 12 ft,water temp 31 C°, marine life: some moray eel but they were huge, some nudibranch and a couple of sea lions at the surface. Due to dive conditions DP order to move to Espiritu Santo Island, we are going to try to perform 2 dives more.
