Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-10-16

Good afternoon, everyone, NBA e/r to Bahia Magdalena to anchor there.

Day is windy, NW 10-15 kts and 3-5 ft seas, water temperature was 29 Celsius and viz 25 meters.

Our guests departed the boat around 0700 and shortly we started to make way to Cabo Tosco. During our transit we saw 2 humpback whales, mother and calf, hopefully we can see them on our way back.

Activity today four our guests was good, they saw many Marlins jumping around and had the opportunity to swim with a small stationary bait ball that was eaten in 15 minutes by thousands of Mahi Mahi’s, wahoos and sea lions. They said this was awesome. We will arrive to the anchorage 1630 hrs. and have our taco night and sleep there to meet the pangas tomorrow morning.
