Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2023-10-18

NUS Anchored at 24°26.1N-109°57.5W, in 80ft of depth on La Reyna Isla Cerralvo. Completely clear sky on a very sunny day, without wind and waves, very calm, the sun kills out of the shadow.

This morning they did two dives in La Reyna with a visibility of 60ft, a strong current in the first dive. The second dive was without current, and with water temperature of 87°F. In both dives there was marine life, Turtles, school of Mexican machetes, bigeye jacks, seabass, eels, nudibranchs, king & Cortez angels, green trevally, and many sea lions.

Guests are happy with the dives. We have two more dives in the afternoon and for tomorrow the plan is to dive in the Islotes. Sharing La Reyna with a few skiffs from Lapaz, almost all of them snorkeling.
