Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-11-03

Good afternoon, everyone! NEX anchored at Roca Partida, 240 FT depth, 4.5 shots paid out, NNE wind 15 kts and 2-4 ft same direction.

We ended our day yesterday with 2 great dives. The mantas, turtles, and sharks did not disappoint and by the end of the day divers were very happy because of their dives. We had dinner at anchor and once we finished, we started to make way.

We arrived here this morning and started our ops after NUS first dive.

Dive one was great, dolphins, mantas, tuna fish, silky sharks, white tip sharks, lobsters, moray eels and lots of reef fish ensured divers had a great time. Dive number 2 was as good at the first one but this time no dolphins, however our divers saw 5 different mantas and they surfaced super happy.
We will conduct 2 more dives here and after dinner will go to Socorro and dive PuntaTosca.
