Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Under Sea โ€“ 2023-11-09

NUS Anchored at 19ยฐ17.4N-110ยฐ48.4W in 55ft depth, on San Benedicto Island. The sky is Partly cloudy, air temperature 80ยฐf, rough conditions, northeast wind at 18 knots with gusts of wind at 25 knots, and waves of the same direction of 4ft.

The checkout dive was successful, and all guests dived. Two dives were done this morning and the first dive was done in the Anchorage where the divers interacted with 6 Dolphins throughout the dive and a chevron manta in the safety stop.

For the second dive the scenario was the Canyon and very good action at the cleaning station: a monster Yellowfin Tuna, Galapagos, Silvertips, Blacktip, whitetips, 1 hammerhead, and two manta rays, one black and the other chevron who cooperated very well with the divers.

Everyone was very happy. Mexican Fiesta, the entire group requests all communications in Spanish. All guests are very happy with the first dives of the trip.

No other boats in San Benedicto.
