Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-11-10

Hi everyone, NEX anchored in San Benedicta,50 ft depth, 1.5 shots paid out, NE wind 10-12 kts, gusting 15 kts, 3 ft NE swell, clear sky and sun shining high.

We arrived here last night and started this morning with our activities. So far we have done 3 excellent dives, check out dive was done from the dive platform, 3 divers got problems with their gear but now everything is ok for them.

During our 3 dives, mantas have been there, lots of mantas, both kinds, I even saw like 4 mantas from the skiff. During dive number 1 and 2, a big tiger shark was on scene, and a dolphin, many lobsters, trigger fish, silky sharks, white tip sharks, hammerhead sharks, you name it, San Benedicto is setting the bar very high. Dive conditions were good, viz around 15-20 meters, water temperature 26 Celsius. Our plan is to do one more dive here, have dinner and wait for NBA, they have a package that belongs to one of our guests.
