Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-11-21

Good afternoon, everyone, NEX is anchored in Roca Partida, depth 245 ft, 5 shots paid out, NE wind 10-12 kts, 4-6 ft seas, water temperature 28 Celsius, and viz during dives has been good, 25 meters.

Yesterday we went to the navy base and had our inspection, and all went well. After dinner, we picked up the anchor and started to make our way to this place that looked like a manta coming out of the water.

The dive here today has been great, dolphins in the first 2 dives, mantas, tunas, sharks, cotton mouth jacks, wahoos, lobsters, and the newborn white tips are still there. Definitely, it has been a pretty good day. All guests are very happy, we have one more dive here and after dinner, we will move to San Benedicto and will dive the Boiler tomorrow.
