Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-12-15

Hi everyone, NEX anchored in Cabo Pearce, 100 ft depth, 2.5 shots paid out, NE wind 15 kts plus, 3 ft seas inside the bay, clear sky in this side of the island.

Yesterday we finished our diving day in Punta Tosca, all day was good for us, also we did skiff tours. We went inside the little cave next to the wall in the island, it’s impressive to see how the rocks look like they were sanded. After our last dive, we went to the navy base and inspection was conducted via radio once we finished made way to Pearce. We did another skiff tours at our arrival, guests enjoyed it.

Diving today has been good, mantas 4 or 5 both kinds, hammerheads, Galapagos, lobsters, clarion fish, and a huge tiger shark. At this moment our guests are diving, we have one more dive to do here, we will have dinner at anchor, and we will go to San Benedicto and dive the canyon tomorrow.
