Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2023-12-23

Good afternoon, NUS anchored in Socorro, and just arrived at Cabo Pearce after Navy inspection, all went well, Northerly wind 15 kts and 3 ft wrapping swell inside the finger.

This is going to be our third dive of the day, we did 2 dives in Punta Tosca, marine life was there but some divers did see it and some others didn’t. That’s why we decided to give it a try to Pearce.

During our dives in Tosca, divers did see a few mantas in the distance, a hammerhead, a few silver tips, lobsters, octopus, and the usual reef fish, there was moderate current, the water temperature was 26 Celsius, and viz 12 meters.
Once we finish here we will heave up anchor and make our way to San Benedicto and dive the Canyon tomorrow.
