Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-01-22

Belle Amie is currently anchored near the Boiler. Wind is 5 kts from the north, swell 3-5′ from the NW, sky overcast, air temp 27C. Only boat at San Benedicto today.

Arrived last night at midnight after a very smooth transit and did our checkout dive at Fondeadero this morning. Excellent dive with a couple playful mantas for all divers and a few lucky people even got to see a few dolphins.

For dive 2 and the afternoon we’ve moved up to the Boiler because forecast showing some wind starting tomorrow night and lasting for a few days. The Boiler was also great with a couple of friendly mantas for the entire dive for everyone.

We’ll have taco night tonight and get underway for Roca Partida right after, tomorrow looks like the last day to get Roca in.
