Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-01-24

Belle Amie at Punta Tosca today, wind is northerly around 10 kts with a long 4-6′ swell on the outside and a bit of southerly swell inside the anchorage as well. Air temp 26C, clear skies. Overall conditions pretty good.

We’ve had a couple really good dives here this morning with a couple of friendly mantas, some curious dolphins and a few hammerheads and Galapagos around as well. On the second dive a mom and calf humpback cruised by close to the inflatable as they were dropping guests. Didn’t get to see them underwater but a nice encounter.

Guests coming up very happy with the diving. Water temp 26C and current mild to moderate, viz around 15m. Doing one more dive here this afternoon then heading to the navy base for check-in and onwards to Cabo Pearce to spend the day tomorrow.
